Our
History

The beginning of our story follows the path of many determined entrepreneurs. In 1974, our founder, Richard Ayres, had an invention and could not afford conventional manufacturing molder prices. Undeterred, he decided to make his own molding machine and injection unit from scrapyard parts.

In 1989, Jay Ayres took the helm of Country Plastics, Inc., and along with his wife, Jenny, they continue to lead our team of dedicated individuals to deliver the quality and work-ethic established by Jay’s father, Richard Ayres.

From modest beginnings and the MAKE IT WORK ethic that founded our company, we’ve grown into a modern, state-of-the-art custom plastic injection molding enterprise. We want every project to be successful: to make sure that the design is done right, so that it can be injection molded, and that it performs as specified. Our commitment to excellence is the foundation that keeps our customers and employees with us over the years.

When you ask Jay what drew him to this field, he insists, “It’s always something new: it’s interesting to help customers produce single components or complete products.”
